Marie Alice Reeves, 82, of Landenberg, PA, went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2017. Marie was born on November 24, 1935, in West Chester, PA. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Keesey Sr. and Alice Keesey.
She attended school in the Kennett Consolidated School District.
Marie was employed at Chrysler Corporation and a member of UAW Local 1183. After eighteen years of employment, she retired in 1996. Prior to working at Chrysler Corporation, she served as a teacher’s aide in the Avon Grove School District.
She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, singing, puzzles, and being surrounded by her family.
Marie leaves behind her husband, Walter A. Reeves of Coatesville, PA; her loving children, Horace Brown Jr. of Dallas TX, Donna Foster of Newcastle, DE, Lynn Brown of Wilmington, DE, and Tyra Reeves-Epps of Wilmington, DE; her loving grandchildren, Tonya Brown, Leanna Foster, Colleen Scott, Damon Twyman, Darris Brown, Tiffany Giroso, Victoria Brown, Anastacia Brown, Andrea Reeves, Kevin Reeves Jr., Shareese Reeves, Cherish Reeves, Kiera Reeves, Tamicia Reeves-Gray, Darren Brown, Andre' Brown, Angela Reeves, Alicia Reeves, Ariana Epps, and Jordan Reeves; twenty-five great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean Keesey, Ralph E. Keesey Jr. (Jenny), Patricia Mathis (Kenneth), James Norman (Detra), and Ruby Harris (Wendell); daughters-in-law, Becky Reeves and Bobby Brown, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Kevin Reeves and Anthony Brown.
